We appreciated the opportunity to rub shoulders with the good men and women attending the North Carolina Jail Administrators’ Association conference held in Greensboro. Tate McCotter, Administrator for the National Institute for Jail Operations, a division for the NSA Center for Public Safety, was the keynote speaker on Friday morning, September 10, 2012. For those that attended and asked for copies of the information presented, we have put together this page as a resource to you. While it may not be as useful for those that were not part of the discussion and presentation, perhaps it can provide some useful information in the interim.
You are invited to share this material with your fellow staff and colleagues. The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) and the National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO) are committed to providing the best resources available to assist you in making your jail safer and more secure, and to help protect against liability and adverse publicity.
